How to Apply
Eligibility Requirements
To apply for a grant from the North Central Alabama Affiliate, your organization must be:
- A not-for-profit (federally tax-exempt) organization, e.g., non-profit organizations, government agencies, and educational institutions are eligible.
- Located in the Komen North Central Alabama Affiliate service area, which includes the 38 north and central counties. Click here for map and list of these counties.
Funding Priorities
North Central Alabama Affiliate funding priorities are based on an assessment of breast health service needs that we conduct for our service area. Priorities are indicated annually in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Applying organizations should closely review the RFP, because priority will be given to programs that address the overarching issues and target the medically underserved populations identified as high need.
The North Central Alabama Affiliate promotes collaborative programs among organizations that are non-duplicative and provide access to a continuum of breast health care for the community.
